ENGVAAL - En Utvilsom Makt

Made as an alternative soundtrack to the dark and violent cult/horror/ritual
exploitation movies of the 70s,"En utvilsom makt" was recorded February

2010 with an old Fostex xr-7 4-track tape recorder. The instruments used

on this record were a pump organ from the 1890s, a Fender Telecaster,and

a Ludwig floor tom. The production and soundscape draws from the mid to

late 60s experimental recording and mixing, aiming to create a visual space

and room within the music. The lyrical content deals with individual aptitude

and Norwegian pessimism.
